Friday, May 10: CCO Mix and Mingle Reception
Time: 3:00–5:00 PM ET
Location: 375 Maple Street, Burlington, VT | The Champlain Room, 3rd Floor, Center for Communication & Creative Media Building
The Mix & Mingle reception is an opportunity to connect and celebrate with fellow students, loved ones, and the CCO community. Held the evening before commencement, this event features greetings and congratulatory messages from faculty, staff, and advisors, as well as appetizers, drinks, and plenty of fun! Kids are welcome!
If it’s your first time visiting campus, please join us for a campus tour during the Mix & Mingle reception.
Come as you are! You do not need to wear your regalia to this event.

Saturday, May 11: Commencement Ceremony
May 11, 2024 is the big day! We look forward to welcoming the CCO community to the 2024 Commencement Ceremony at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, VT: 105 Pearl Street, Essex Junction, VT.
2–2:30 PM ET: Graduates arrive for check-in at the Champlain Valley Exposition
2:00 PM ET: Pre-show begins online and for in-person guests of graduates
3:00 PM ET: Ceremony begins

Celebrate commencement from anywhere.
We understand that some graduates and community members may not be able to attend the in-person graduation ceremony. That’s why we’re hosting a virtual watch party! Tune in to celebrate this exciting milestone with fellow graduates, faculty, and staff and don’t forget to wear your cap and gown! Link coming soon.
Flip your tassel from right to left once the Champlain President confers your degree and throw your cap in the air at the conclusion of the virtual event!
