Senior David Klinker to Give Commencement Address

Marketing senior David Klinker will give the commencement address on behalf of the on-campus undergraduate Class of 2025 during Champlain College’s 10 AM ceremony on Saturday, May 10.

Klinker is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Finance. Hailing from Winooski, Vermont, Klinker plans to stay local after graduation and work full-time in Burlington for Hula-based New Breed Marketing, where he has interned since May 2024.

A student entrepreneur, Klinker founded DJKSS Productions, a freelance video production business focused on providing high-quality and affordable video services to small businesses. He also previously started and managed a streetwear clothing brand called Thoughtfully Overthinking.

For more than two years during his time at Champlain College, Klinker worked part-time for NorthCountry Federal Credit Union as a Video Content Creator.

He has earned a 3.9 GPA and is part of the Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society. During his senior year at Winooski High School, Klinker enrolled in the Community College of Vermont’s dual enrollment program and simultaneously completed his first year of college courses.

Klinker volunteers on the Finance and Program Marketing Committees for Conscious Homestead, an urban homestead in Winooski that centers land-based healing and liberation for Black and Brown communities.
