The below email was sent to Champlain College Online undergraduate and master’s students eligible to take part in May 2025 Commencement.
Dear Champlain students and recent graduates,
We are looking forward to Champlain College Commencement on Saturday, May 10! Here are important reminders of actions you need to take and deadlines to keep in mind:
- GRADUATION AND COMMENCEMENT REQUIREMENTS FORM DEADLINE: FRIDAY, MARCH 7
All graduates must fill out the Graduation and Commencement Requirements form by this Friday, March 7 even if you are not attending the ceremony in person. Please log into the form using your Champlain email and complete all required steps.
If you are attending in person, you should order your regalia by following the link to Oak Hall in this form. Regalia includes your cap, gown, and tassel, as well as your hood if you are a Master’s graduate. Your regalia will be mailed to your home. - STUDENT SPEAKER APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, MARCH 21
Do you feel like you can inspire and celebrate the Class of 2025? We invite you to apply to be this year’s student speaker at the Commencement ceremony. Submit your application by Friday, March 21. - SAVE THE DATE: CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE ONLINE MIX & MINGLE
Save the date for a Mix & Mingle event for all Champlain College Online graduates and their families on Friday, May 9 from 3:00-6:00 PM in the Champlain Room. We hope you can join us! Formal invitation to follow.
We encourage you to visit the Commencement 2025 website for updates and information, including FAQs and local hotel discounts. Note that most hotels have cut-off dates for preferred rates—book quickly as rooms will go fast!
We’ll also be reaching out to you soon, inviting you to send a short video clip of yourself that could be played during the Commencement ceremony! Whether you are attending in person or watching virtually, we want you to be a special part of the celebration! Stay tuned for more info.
