Paul Leendertse works on the Information Security Team at National Life Group where he helps to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of National Life’s systems and data. Paul is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional with more than 20 years of IT and business experience. He has a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and a Master’s of Science in Information Security Operations, both from Champlain College. More than anything, Paul has a real passion for information security, especially for application and cloud security, as well as security architecture and security culture.
Prior to working at National Life, Paul worked for Deloitte Risk Advisory where he managed penetration testing projects and led efforts to create Secure-by-Design programs at different financial services firms. His goal is always to help organizations build out effective security programs in order to protect their most sensitive information.
Paul lives in Montpelier, Vermont with his wife, children, and two border terriers and loves to spend time outside enjoying the mountains on snowshoes, skis, or a mountain bike. You can also catch him at home with a good novel.
