“To Caroline Steele—the steeliest of colleagues who sacrificed a lot to undertake a Master’s degree program while working full time. You are truly exemplary and inspiring! As you know, our adult students perform feats of bravery and courage and dedication each week when they attempt to earn their degree in the midst of family, working, and everything else life throws at them. Through exhaustion and through summers and through having to sit next to me in the office, you have endured so much to run your marathon and reach the finish line. And lady, that finish line has come. You earned this with blood, sweat, and tears (probably, right?) and I celebrate you for this amazing achievement! Congratulations, CSteele! You dared to learn more and grow more. And I can’t wait to see what you dare to do next!”

—Linda Reid, Senior Academic Advisor
